You have heard the saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. The Dinosaurs and the Romans were heard saying that just before the end. Successful organizations and successful people are always learning and “making it better” while never forgetting about being brilliant at the basics … the stuff that brought them to the party in the first place. This balance of never forgetting the skills that made you successful in the first place and balancing the need to always be learning and improving is necessary in order for anyone to stay on top of their game.
